There is no better way to relax over the weekend and spend a bit of time cooking something extra delicious. Here is a simple dish that makes a perfect appertizer for a dinner with friends or a nice treat to award yourself after a busy workweek.
50 g of butter
4 ripe but firm pears
200 g ricotta cheese
3 + 5 Tbsp. of honey (we used Spring Is In The Air)
Ground nutmeg to taste
yield: 4 servings
total time: 1 hour
Preheat oven to 200°C. Melt butter in a small bowl and pour it to a bottom of a baking dish.
Cut pears into halves and put them sides down to the baking dish. Roast them 25 minutes or until tender.
Turn pears over, spear and drizzle 3 tbsp of honey over top, and roast 20 minutes more.
Transfer pears to serving plates next to ricotta. Drizzle them with cooking juices and 5 tbsp. of honey. Before serving sprinkle nutmeg to taste. Enjoy!
